Heartbeat
She was sitting in a corner of the room, near the windowpane, when he came in. It was dark outside, the sun had set a long time ago and the only light came from the crescent moon. She sat in an old, highbacked chair, holding her hand pressed to her bosom, her head bowed down and her eyes slightly closed.
'Where were you? Did you forgot about our appointment?' He asked agitaded, as he made his way towards her, through the empty room. 'I've been waiting for hours, why-'
